Christian has worked with the company informally since birth... but as Operations Director since June 2013 after he moved back from 6 years in New Zealand to rejoin the family business. He can be found doing anything from cooking joints of meat in an underground oven to overseeing weddings for over 200 guests. His favourite part about his job is meeting so many different people and, being part of a family business, allowing him to share its family values with each client.
He enjoys events because they are such a fun environment to work in and his proudest moment came when he and his mother were introduced to Her Majesty the Queen after serving her afternoon tea. Christian picked Poached & grilled maize fed chicken, confit leg bonbon, tarragon pearl barley risotto and broccoli as his favourite meal because 'you just can't beat a good chicken dish...delicious!'
Outside of work Christian enjoys watching rugby and spending time with his young kids, though he hasn't perfected the art of doing both simultaneously yet!
