#MeetUsMonday - Week 3 

Head Chef, Craig Gibb

Craig is now in his fifth year with us at The Orde Food Company. He is the company head chef and his role is to create menus, oversee food selection and ordering and try to keep all of the chefs happy. It's a tough remit! Craig's proudest achievements at work are winning the Best Main and Silver Medal overall at the Scottish Culinary Championships 2015 and winning the Best Event Chef in the CIS Excellence Awards, we are immensely proud of Craig too!

Craig is a flexible and experienced chef who, whilst with us has done everything from acting as a private chef at intimate dinner parties to delivering fine dining menus for events of over 400 people. We asked him to name his most memorable events, he did find it tricky to choose but went for cooking for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth,  but closely following this is an annual job we have catering for VIPs on the banks of the River Tweed a breathtaking setting.Craig at Work

His favourite Main was of course his winning one! A roe deer dish which is on our tasting menu. His favourite dessert is cold rice pudding... unsurprisingly this isn't on our current menus! (Available on request though!)

Outside of work Craig likes to spend time with his kids and attempt to play football. Craig is a Hibs fan and when he can he watches them play at Easter Road. Noel Gallagher would be his dream person to cook for so that he could go to his house and have a shot on his guitars!
