Lorraine has been an integral part of The Orde Food Company for over 22 years and is our longest serving member of staff. She started working with Gill in 1995 when she and her family moved to Kelso from Liverpool. She has seen the company evolve during her time with it, starting from cooking for events in the Orde's family kitchen to now working as a part time cook at the catering unit. Her favourite thing to do is baking and if you have been at one of our events in the past 22 years it's likely you will have tasted her food, be it her amazing Choccy Biccy Cake or her famous dessert "Tarte Au Pomme Lorraine!"
One of her highlights with the company is cooking for the Queen at Thirlstane Castle in 2009 and the nicest part of her job has been working at so many lovely parties and weddings.
When she is not being an "Orde Food All Star" Lorraine likes to garden and she would love to cook for the Liverpool Football Team. Maybe it would help them win the league this year!?
