The whole Orde Food Company family are so delighted that Provender, our permanent restaurant based in Melrose, has been awarded a Bib Gourmand in this years Michelin Guide. 

Owned by Justin and Christian Orde, Provender opened its doors just over two years ago. Since then, it has become very well known in the Scottish Borders for its delicious menu. The Michelin Guide wrote the perfect description of Provender; 'This stylish, family-run restaurant is a perfect match for this lovely Borders town. The chef – a local – spent time in London before returning home, and his time with Pierre Koffmann shows through in well-executed, classically based dishes which deliver plenty of flavour and represent great value for money'.

A Bib Gourmand is given to establishments that deliver good quality and good value, with those included in the guide providing a menu of three courses for £30 or less. Provender was one of only three Scottish restaurants from the 22 new additions to the guide.

The Orde team would like to take this opportunity to thank the local community for their continued support over many years.
